Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!

The last Wednesday of 2023 is upon us. You won’t hear from me again until 2024, but I promise you will be hearing from me!

I hope you had a great holiday weekend. We have one more coming up next weekend before we get back to normal. I got to see my first real snowfall this winter without it melting by midday. We got four inches of snow on Christmas Day and we had a white Christmas. It was great because I didn’t have to go anywhere, so I could enjoy the pretty views from the inside of my house!

We’re ending 2023 with a plethora of books. Some are free, some are 99 cents, some are $1.99. Check them out below and if you pick them up and read them, be sure to leave reviews for the authors!

Enjoy and happy reading!

End Days Complete Omnibus

The END DAYS began with an electromagnetic pulse, an EMP, but the blue wave of energy didn’t only take out transformers and crash a few planes…
this one threatened to take down the entire world.

The six-book saga follows a cast of characters.

Buck, the truck driver, and his furry friend Big Mac, are on a quest to get back to his teen boy. He has to cross a broken America to do it.
Garth, his son, would much rather spend his days pulling pranks with his buddy, but the wave of energy shoots across the sky of New York City, bringing them nothing but headwinds since he’s a long ways from his dad.
Destiny, the naturalist, is in the Australian Outback when the EMP blast passes overhead. The destruction it brings sets her on a hopeless mission to find her sister, and maybe a few minutes of safety.
Finally, Faith, the scientist, is at the epicenter of the apocalypse, but the bureaucracy around her moves glacier-slow. Can she shove it along before her billion-dollar supercollider adds to the destruction of humanity?

Discover why readers are calling this more than a series about EMPs, dinosaurs, or a post-apocalyptic collapse. The heart of this tale is in the bonds of family, and the good people we rely on when the world falls apart. Over 1300 reviews for the six-book series with 4 and ½ stars average.

Reader feedback on the last book in the series:
After having read this series, I heartily recommend it to all as an example of “honor, courage, and commitment.”
Excellent series! Excellent end to this series!
It has been based on a unique premise and is underpinned with great characters and interactions between family and friends as well as a first-class villain.
Tons of action and surprises and bizarre twists. A very unique “world.” Great read!
Like a furious ping pong game, this bounces back and forth from one thrilling scenario to another!

Pick it up today and start your journey through the End Days.

Or so he believes.

It’s a dog’s breakfast from the word go. Reynolds is positioned to keep the sides from killing each other while he and the crew try to figure out what is going on. With a healthy dose of skepticism, they dig deep trying to find the truth. Underwater. In the vacuum of space. On another planet. Clues and answers can be found by only the most diligent.

I’m fighting for my family.

Skyrocket to Surrender

Jordan Hawke has been a loner since boyhood when his entire family was gunned down by the man his mother ran away with. Since then, he’s been content with giving in to ongoing and intense feelings of distrust. However, as Jordan finds himself glaring through the window of a Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Train—focused on a solitary, female rider wearing a brown fedora with a red bandana masking half of her face—he can’t help but doubt his gut instinct. That is—until the train skids off the tracks and derails into a ditch. Maybe he was right the first time around: women can’t be trusted…

Alana James is a woman who answers to no one. And she’s made up her mind—Jordan is just as dangerous as the conman who murdered her father. But after a shocking crash derails plans for the James-Younger Gang she’s traveling with—at the farm of a Quantrill Raider—Jesse James bargains with Jordan to take Alana home. And all of a sudden…Alana feels as if her independence is being ripped away. So, she does the only thing she can think of—she refuses. She also demands that Jordan help her catch the man who shot her father. If he agrees—fine. But Alana promises to waste no love along the way.

As Jordan seeks to capture a female bank robber and recover one hundred thousand dollars before Allan Pinkerton arrests him, and Alana gets an unexpected lead on the counterfeiting conman, both plunge into a Cherokee Nation full of enemies and outlaws.

In this intense race against time, life and death circumstances threaten to destroy Jordan and Alana…unless trust and love are surrendered.
