Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
The last ten days have been absolutely chaotic. Last week, one of my cats turned extremely ill. And while he’s starting to do better, we still don’t know what’s wrong with him or if it’s going to be fully recoverable, but I’m hoping. He’s a fighter and as stubborn as I am.
Then I was planning a garage sale before all this happened and held it last weekend and this coming weekend.
I have a bunch of other projects underway and it just feels like if I start to get ahead, something happens where I get behind again.
We have some great books for you to enjoy this week! Check them out below and if you pick up any of them, be sure to leave reviews!
Enjoy and happy reading!

The year on the human home world calendar is 2220.
Life is a bit like the sci-fi shows of the 20th Century in some ways.
In others? Not so much.
I’m on a League of Civilizations star ship. Yep. Star Ship. In space.
Currently trying to physically, and emotionally, recover from a crash where I lost my partner. All would be going fine except we also have to survive an encounter with the deadliest lifeform in the universe.
A lifeform we were starting to think was just legend.
No big deal.
If it were just about the lives on board that would be one thing. But it’s not. What we do next will impact everyone, in all the League civilizations. That’s hundreds of billions of sentients. They could all be wiped out.
I’m running out of options.
Oh yeah, and as if dealing with trying to save everyone in the universe wasn’t enough, I also have to contend with a crush on the ship’s first officer who also happens to be… yes, you guessed it, a synthetic life form.
Fuck my life.
Surviving either of these things intact is going to be a challenge.
“If you like Star Trek and devastatingly handsome androids, you’ll love this series!”

Faerie gangs are at war.
The Seelie and Unseelie forces are tearing each other apart.
Humanity is caught in the crossfire.
I don’t care which side wins. They’re all assholes.
But if they want to wage a war, they’ll have to contend with me.
And I’ll be damned before I let either side get the upper hand.
Bloody Bastards is the fourth book in The Fury of a Vampire Witch. You’ve met Mercy before in The Legacy of a Vampire Witch and The Blood Witch Saga. She’s fought against devils and demons, insidious witches, and old-world vampires. When she returns to Exeter, where she grew up as a girl, she’ll find enemies even bigger and badder than anything she’s ever faced before.
Ye screw with this lass, ye get put on yer ass.
Meet Fionna mac Cumhaill an urban druid coming into her powers and trying to master them.
She has a family she didn’t know about, a magical heritage laying its claim, and a mystery she apparently needs to solve.
Grab this 8-book boxed set to dive into the first half of the exciting adventures of this red-haired lass from Toronto!
Life sucker-punched me…
I have family I didn’t know about, a magical heritage laying its claim, and a mystery I apparently need to solve.
There are three things I love most in life…my wild and crazy Irish family, Redbreast Whiskey at Shenanigans, and living in Toronto.
Having grown up with five older brothers, I can fight my way out of most situations, either with my wicked sense of humor or my fists. Often both. But when a back-alley brawl leaves me marked with a bizarre Celtic crest on my back, I become a beacon for all things whacked and weird.
My dad is obviously freaked when he sees the tat, but he won’t discuss it.
So, I do what any stubborn red-headed lass would—I ignore all advice and fly to the Emerald Isle to get answers.
And yeah…you know that saying about hindsight being 20/20?
Look out, druid world. This mac Cumhaill is like no other.
Will Fiona survive coming into her powers? Will those in Ireland survive Fiona? Can Toronto survive an urban druid and her mythical bear?
Included in this boxed set:
- A Gilded Cage
- A Sacred Grove
- A Family Oath
- A Witch’s Revenge
- A Broken Vow
- A Druid Hexed
- An Immortal’s Pain
- A Shaman’s Power
From award-winning author K.S. Jones comes the first book in her True Hearts of Texas contemporary western romance series—and it’s sure to spark flames.
No matter where one travels in Texas, at practically any time of the year in cities large and small, some things remain constant: livestock shows, rodeos, and football—and Chef Mia Ellis rejected them all. With a culinary arts degree as proof that a cosmopolitan lifestyle awaited her, Mia left everything behind in favor of New York City.
But when an emergency brings her back home, Mia finds herself completely unprepared for the town and the people she’s outgrown. Even with cooking—the only thing that has ever separated her from her hometown roots—and her on-hold job in N.Y.C. anchoring her to salvation, Mia has to find a way to earn money while she’s in town. Unfortunately, a dishwashing gig at an out-of-the-way bar and grill is all that’s available.
It isn’t until Mia reconnects with Jace, her old high school sweetheart and heir to Texas Century Ranch, that she realizes she may still have a taste for Texas after all.
