Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
Last week I asked the question about how you organize your books but I didn’t actually share how I organize mine. Downstairs, in my basement, I have a wall that has a built-in bookshelf. That shelf has books arranged by genre first – so general fiction, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, etc.). Then they are done by alphabetical order by author UNLESS there is a series. if it’s a series, then they are in order by the series. Or if it’s a series by multiple authors (think Forgotten Realms or other D&D series or Star Trek, Star Wars, etc), then it’s numerical order by series.
See? I said I was a nerd.
My organization, filing and recycling continued this past weekend. And a new painting came in that I can’t wait to hang up. And by doing all of this, it allowed my brain to come up with things I had missed when I thought I was caught up or even a little bit ahead. (Hint: I wasn’t.)
Oh well, I can hope to get caught up and ahead one day.
