Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
Can you believe it’s already Wednesday again? I didn’t get anything knocked off my to-do list this last week other than work-related to-do’s and I’m still not done with all of those. I’m trying futilely to catch up, but I realize it just isn’t possible.

WhThisakes me REALLY wonder when I’m going to get to my TBR pile. Especially since I just added more to my list this week. And I mean a lot more. Oops!

When there’s a good sale, sometimes you just can’t avoid it.

What are your current favorite genres to read? What is your guilty pleasure? I will admit that paranormal romance is definitely a guilty pleasure and it’s one of my favorite genres to read. I also enjoy urban fantasy, fantasy and science fiction, but read just about anything.

Check out the great books we have for you this week. Your TBR list might just grow too!
Enjoy and happy reading!

Providence Paranormal College (Books 1-5)

At Providence Paranormal College, class is about to start.

Who’s enrolled? Students who are a bit different: vampires, werewolves, changelings, shifters, psychics, and magi.

For one-hundred years, the college has taught and trained only psychics or magi, and for the first time, it’s opening the doors to those not different: regular humans.

At this Ivy-League school, the students are expected to learn their powers and keep high grades.

Unfortunately, grades are slipping, but that’s what happens when a mysterious villain is hunting you down…

Because someone is angry about this new admissions policy and they’ll kill to stop integration. To defeat this rising evil, the students must band together and master their strange powers – because if they don’t..

Well, it’s pretty hard to graduate when you’re dead.

Includes the first five books plus four brand new short stories inside the college.

A series of electromagnetic pulses brought the world to its knees.

But that wasn’t the end, it was just the beginning.

Some who survived turned to Taylor MacPherson, and he has given them hope. After many years, they’ve carved out a bastion of democracy in the sea of chaos that is the post-apocalyptic Earth. His people are proud of what they’ve built. They are free and willing to fight for a new society of rules and order, but can they handle what comes next?

But outsiders were watching.

For thirty years a massive spaceship from the alien Qu’uda’s has been heading for Earth. Our planet would make a perfect new home. The aliens have invested their lives in the search for a new breeding home. They intend to take it all.

The stakes are high.

You’ll love this epic science-fiction struggle, because M.B. Wood is a master storyteller.

The Lonely Breed

Half Indian and half white, Yakima Henry considers himself lucky to have any job – even if it means just sweeping up the local brothel.

But when four hombres attempt to carve up one of the house girls, Yakima gives them a taste of their own medicine with his Arkansas Toothpick. Now, he’s become the girl’s protector, and is on the run from a vicious bounty hunter.

“Hooks you instantly with sin-soaked villains and a compelling hero. Yakima Henry has a heart of gold and an Arkansas toothpick.” – Mike Baron, author of Florida Man.

Wicked City

Sam Raven is a man with a mysterious past and an unknown future. Drawn to help people in jeopardy because of his own personal tragedy, he collides with San Francisco Police Inspector Kayla Blaine after saving her from mob killers.

Kayla never expected to end up on the mob’s hit list – now she’s on the run. Even her closest colleagues are a threat.

Sam Raven is Kayla’s only chance to stay alive. Raven uses every skill in his arsenal to outwit her enemies, but the longer they run, the closer the enemy gets. Raven and Kayla are forced into a desperate fight where only one side will survive.

From the author of the Scott Stiletto series comes a new hero. Sam Raven is grittier, deadlier, and you better not stand in his way.
