Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
Well, it’s getting hot! Of course it is! Tomorrow I set up my booth for a Comic Con and Sunday I pack it all back and bring it home and it’s going to be on the two hottest days of the year so far. Good thing I have invested in neck fans and short sleeve shirts and bottles of ice water. I’m going to need it!
I’ve been super busy this past week getting ready for the show as well as getting ready for my trip. For some reason, before trips, I also like to deep clean my house. I wish I knew why, but it’s one of those things that I try to do.
We’ve got some great books for you to check out this week. There are a ton of boxed sets, once again, but who doesn’t love a good, discounted series? Check them out below!
Enjoy and happy reading!

Fame became her prison until death set her free.
When actress Regan Vale flees her suffocating celebrity life for a remote Washington coast, she’s seeking anonymity—not salvation. When a violent storm leaves her broken and dying on an isolated beach, a mysterious stranger offers the impossible: a second chance at life.
Gabriel Virelli lives by ancient laws in his clifftop mansion, guarding secrets that have kept his family hidden for centuries. Saving Regan should have been simple mercy. The ritual that pulls her back from death creates something unprecedented—a connection that defies every rule he’s sworn to uphold.
Now Regan must navigate a world where nothing is as it seems, where her savior harbors dangerous truths, and where the life she thought she’d escaped is hunting her down. The deeper she’s drawn into Gabriel’s shadowed world, the more she realizes her greatest threat may not be her past catching up to her.
Will she finally find the authentic life she’s always craved among those who live in shadow? Or will the truth about what binds her to Gabriel prove more terrifying than any spotlight she ever faced?

A new evil lurks in the darkness
After an explosion, the crew of a battlecruiser mysteriously disappears.
Corruption
After an explosion, the crew of a battlecruiser mysteriously disappears.
Bailey and Lewis, complete strangers, find themselves suddenly onboard the damaged ship. Lewis hasn’t worked a case in years, not since the final one broke his spirit and his bank account. The last thing Bailey remembers is preparing to take down a fugitive on Onyx Station.
Mysteries are harder to solve when there’s no evidence left behind.
Bailey and Lewis don’t know how they got onboard Ricky Bobby or why. However, they quickly learn that whatever was responsible for the explosion and disappearance of the crew is still on the ship.
Monsters are real and what this one can do changes everything.
The new team bands together to discover what happened and how to fight the monster lurking in the bottom of the battlecruiser.
I was ripped from my old life when my ship crashed.
My partner was killed, my ship destroyed, and my legs mangled.
I was pulled from the wreckage, saved from imminent death, by one of the strongest and most handsome men I have even seen.
Turns out he is also one of the most capable members of the bridge crew on the ship I’m on.
A hot, popular, and high-ranking officer on this Federation ship.
Turns out, he’s not exactly human.
But that’s okay. Neither am I.
So there I am, recovering in the med bay, nursing my trauma and my new crush in equal measure, when all hell breaks loose.
I’ve just lost everything, but within days my world had become something I could never have imagined.
Not only do I find myself co-opted into a mission that was never mine, on a ship I never enlisted for, but somehow I’m now also a “diplomatic spy” for a clandestine faction, trying to stop this crazy situation escalating into a full blown galactic war.
And that’s only the half of it.
I’m running out of time, up against technology I didn’t even know existed yet, and I have no idea who I can trust with the secrets I’m carrying.
Edwyn Gray’s Nick Hamilton Series
From the author of the bestselling U-BOAT series comes a new naval war hero on the Allied side of WWII.
Nick Hamilton commands the HMS Rapier, a state-of-the-art submarine engaged in covert actions against Allied enemy forces. He’s brash and bold and has been known to be highly unorthodox. But he gets the job done…and in wartime that’s all that matters.
This four-book series follows Hamilton and the Rapier crew as they challenge German U-boats and Japanese warships alike, drawing victory from the ashes of defeat, and persevering to maintain a civilized way of life for all the world’s citizens…no matter where they hail from.
This action-packed military fiction series is the flip side of Edwyn Gray’s U-BOAT series, showing the war and battles from the Allied point of view. Fans of WWII naval warfare fiction will not want to miss out on this series!
The Complete Nick Hamilton Series includes all four awe-inspiring, adventure-filled full-length novels: Fighting Submarine, Devil Flotilla, Crash Dive 500, and Diving Stations.
