Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!

Fall is officially here. We’ve gone from highs in the 80s last week to the first freeze warning a week later. You always know the weather change is going to come, but sometimes I wish it wouldn’t change so fast. I would have enjoyed a few more days of fall-like temperatures.

Ahh well, it is what it is. I get to look forward to warmer temperatures in Vegas in a few weeks, so I can’t complain too much.

Check out the selection of books for you this week! Let us know if you find any you like!

Enjoy and happy reading!

Eldrich Engineer Complete Series Boxed Set

His experiment shouldn’t have wrecked his lab, created a portal to another dimension, or sucked him through said portal.

Despite all that, Charles Smith found himself landing atop the emissary of an evil group of mages called the Shadow Council.

Literally on top of him, along with half the gear from his lab, which had the fortunate side-effect of turning the evil sorcerer into paste.

This won Charles the gratitude of King Alfred, ruler of the Kingdom of Kortall and the man who said sorcerer had been threatening moments before Smith’s arrival.

Grab this complete series boxed set and join Charles on his adventures through an unexpected portal!

But the reward for a job well done is always more work!

Alfred quickly recruits Charles to help defend his kingdom against the invading army. Wildly outmatched, Alfred’s forces are on the verge of being crushed. If he falls, there will be little to stop the Shadow Council from taking over the entire world.

Charles will need every trick he knows, including a lot of science, some engineering—and maybe even a little bit of magic—if Kortall is to have any hope of surviving!

Included in this boxed set:

  1. Quantum Conjurations
  2. Kingdom of Shadows
  3. Reality Rupture
  4. Mystic Mantle
  5. Air and Ashes
  6. Gate of Worlds

A Space Adventure Boxed Set

($2.99)

The year on the human home world calendar is 2220.

Life is a bit like the sci-fi shows of the 20th Century in some ways.

In others? Not so much.

I’m on a League of Civilizations star ship. Yep. Star Ship. In space.

Currently trying to physically, and emotionally, recover from a crash where I lost my partner. All would be going fine except we also have to survive an encounter with the deadliest lifeform in the universe.

A lifeform we were starting to think was just legend.

No big deal.

If it were just about the lives on board that would be one thing. But it’s not. What we do next will impact everyone, in all the League civilizations. That’s hundreds of billions of sentients. They could all be wiped out.

I’m running out of options.

And time.

Oh yeah, and as if dealing with trying to save everyone in the universe wasn’t enough, I also have to contend with a crush on the ship’s first officer who also happens to be… yes, you guessed it, a synthetic life form.

Fuck my life.

Surviving either of these things intact is going to be a challenge.

Blood Pact

They thought they kept the nightmare caged with blood.

They were wrong.

Sebastian Winter’s world explodes when he uncovers a dark secret…

…a pact fueled by human sacrifice holding back an ancient, slumbering evil.

Now, the pact is broken.

The entity awakens, hungry and enraged.

Sebastian races against time to stop it before a city bleeds dry…

…but can he navigate the web of lies and hidden agendas of those who made the deal in the first place?

Torn Asunder

Betrayal can forge unlikely pairings. How history records them often differs from their truth.

Take the case of Katie Maddison, a normal college student who kindly agreed to tutor a fellow student in Chemistry. However, he had nefarious plans for her…and a demon looking for a human to inhabit.

Welcome to the world of the Damned—people possessed by demons who take control of their bodies.

Katie needs to figure out how to deal with her new roommate while training to hunt and fight other demons…and staying alive.

There’s just one problem.

Her demon Pandora isn’t like the others, and she’s keeping secrets from Katie and everyone else.

Secrets that could change everything humanity thinks it knows.

These private, unfiltered journal entries reveal the pair’s internal clashes and shed light on their admittedly reluctant coexistence as they deal with other Damned and demons. – the System, a cosmic entity

NOTE: This book contains cursing. Humorous cursing, but cursing nevertheless. If this offends you, I don’t suggest reading this book.

Killing is My Business

Katie Maddison didn’t want to know demons existed, let alone learn how to kick their asses.

That changed when she became one of the Damned. Now she and her resident demon Pandora need to work out a truce if they want to survive.

Easier said than done when Pandora keeps pushing Katie’s buttons. However, Katie is no longer a newbie. She can hold her own, and she’s playing a vital role on her elite Damned demon-fighting team.

After Katie encounters a young blacksmith selling weapons with an unusual effect on demons, she buys him out and hires him to produce more.

The problem is, the government will want him, his secret to making them, and Katie’s new business if they learn about it.

When the team receives intel about a major incursion planned for the Western United States, even Pandora gets stressed.

Katie’s new weapons could improve the team’s odds, but this will be their trial by fire.
