Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
We are already halfway through August. School started Monday for most of the kids in the area and marching band practice is nice and early every morning. I’m no longer a morning person, but the drum practices wake me up just long enough to pull the covers over me and snuggle in and ignore them. Yet, they’re still nice to hear and make me smile.
Apparently, the gardening issues are a combination of things which I now know for next year as it’s too late to bother with them now. I still have tomatoes growing and may get a few cucumbers later on, but we’ll see what happens before fall gets here.
Speaking of Fall, it felt quite fall like the last few days, but we’re going to be in the 100s by the weekend and it’s going to be hot for a few days before the temperatures start to get back to normal.
