Happy Wednesday, fellow reading addicts!
This week has started off rather weirdly. I’ve been checking my cucumbers, watering them every day it didn’t rain, and had a few small ones and a few bigger ones growing and I had expected a lot more to have started growing, but all the buds and all the beginning cucumbers are gone. I picked one cucumber and one is still growing, but the rest are just POOF. Vanished. I’m blaming the darn little tree rats. At least they’re leaving my tomatoes alone!
It’s been hot yesterday and today and it’s supposed to be hotter the rest of the week. I’m not looking forward to temperatures being above 100, but as I can stay inside except for when I water the plants, I can complain too much. I just feel bad for all the people who are working in the heat. It can’t be pleasant for them.

Shay goes to a museum and consults with the AET. Then, she doesn’t come home on time.
Brownstone goes on a rampage when he learns what happens.
Using his contacts, Brownstone gets Tyler involved when he learns that Lt. Hall is in trouble.
The criminals are powerful, and clever.
It seems the hit on the Los Angeles Museum was planned far in advance.
